Summer Activities For Kids To Learn a New Language


Summer is a time for fun in the sun, but it’s also a great opportunity for kids to learn a new language! With school out of session, children have the chance to practice a new language and culture, It is the ideal time to start learning. Here are some fun and engaging activities that can help your kids to learn a new language this summer for a low cost:

  1. Fishing letters

It is a good outdoor activity that you can do with your kids outside the house and you will need just a few things that you have at home. a Medium bucket or a deep baking tray, Spoons of different sizes, water, magnetic letters, and paper.

Next, you will add water to the trade or the bucket also, and you will add the magnetic letters as well. On the side, you will write on a paper sheet the words that you would like your kids to practice and after that when the fishing time will start, the kids will fish the letters with a spoon and write the words you wrote on the paper.

  1. Learning colors in a foreign language.

This is another wonderful activity that you can Do with your kids while enjoying the sunshine. you just need to cardboard and paint with the colors you want the kids to learn.

Your kids will paint on the cardboard while practicing the colors vocabulary. If you would like to make it more fun, your kids can paint with their feed and hands. after they complete the activities they can wash the paint off with the sprinklers.

  1. Bingo

There are many games available for kids that make learning a new language fun and engaging. Nothing like bingo, an amazing game to learn new vocabulary while having fun. It will be fun for both kids and adults.

Before starting to play, your kids can color the bingo at home and that will make it extra fun for them! I will attach to this post a file with Bingos that you can use with your kids.

  1. Language Learning through Daily Activities

Finally, children can learn a new language through daily activities such as cooking, shopping, and playing games. Encourage your child to use their new language skills during these activities, which will help them to practice and develop their language skills in a natural setting. This is an excellent way to make learning a new language a part of your child’s daily routine.
